Stockton Heath is civil parish and suburban area of the Borough of Warrington in Cheshire. It is located to the north of the Bridgewater Canal and to the south of the Manchester Ship Canal.
Victoria Square is at the centre of Stockton Heath and is on the crossroads of the A49 and A56. Stockton Heath is home to a number of modern bars and restaurants, such as Tom at 101 and many others as well as traditional public houses. The Red Lion Inn dates back to the early 19th century and the Mulberry Tree on Victoria Square, opened in its present building (replacing earlier premises dating from 1725) in March 1907.
The village has a great selection of shops, including independent boutiques such as Pretty Flamingo, specialist wine shop, jewellers, Pets Pantry , supermarkets and many more.
There is a main bus route and plenty a taxis available.There is a modern Health Center in the villagecenter.
Schools
Stockton Heath Primary School is situated on West Avenue, close to the village center.
The high school is Bridgewater High School Arts College (with Science and Maths).
Also some of the Private Schools out of the area provide transport from Stockton Heath, Lymm and Grappenhall areas.
Priestley College is just outside the village.
